Why did you choose to work with ChemTec?
I decided to join ChemTec because I really liked the company owner, Bill Nolan, during my interview.
How long have you been with the company?
I have been with ChemTec for 45 years.
What is the most rewarding, or your favorite, aspect of your role?
The most rewarding part of my job is helping the engineer with new products. I enjoy being a part of the innovation process.
What is your favorite thing about working for ChemTec?
I appreciate the stability of working year-round without any layoffs.
What is your proudest accomplishment during your time at ChemTec?
I’m proud that I consistently get my job done without scrapping parts.
What is one thing you wish more people knew about your job?
I wish more people knew that being a machinist is a valuable trade that requires good job skills.
In what ways have you seen ChemTec evolve since you started?
Over the past 45 years, I’ve watched ChemTec grow from a small company to a much larger one. We’ve expanded our office and our machine shop significantly.

In my free time, I enjoy shooting.
