ChemTec - The Scoop On Dippin Dots New Cryogenics Company

The Scoop on Cryogenics

  • January 30, 2018

Dippin’ Dots, the novelty ice cream that has become a staple in amusement parks, malls, and theaters, recently announced they are now dipping into Cryogenics. This subsidiary known as Dippin’ Dots Cryogenics will offer its freezing technology to a variety of non-edible industries.

Cryogenics relies on a precise freezing methodology and requires equally precise equipment to get it right. ChemTec manufactures flow devices that help companies maximize safety, improve productivity, and in turn saves money.

ChemTec - Regulations And Applications Of Flow Valves For The Hydrogen Industry

Regulations and Applications of Flow Valves for the Hydrogen Industry

  • January 12, 2018

In the Hydrogen Industry, it is necessary to be prepared for the many standards and regulations attached to production, distribution, and applications of flow valves. These standards may change from time to time based on scientific discoveries (or even political will), but they are meant to minimize risk to everyone who works with hydrogen flow valves. To achieve compliance, safety, and efficacy, companies need to be clear on what’s expected of them.

Why Quality Flow Meters Are Essential For Pool Owners | ChemTec

Why Quality Flow Meters are Essential For Pool Owners

  • November 3, 2017

Correctly calibrating the pump in a swimming pool can sometimes be tricky. If the speed is too high, the pool owner will be wasting energy by circulating the water in the pool more than is necessary. If it’s too low, the pump may not be able to thoroughly clean the pool, leading to dirty and stagnant water. Fortunately, flow meters are a simple solution that can help your customers find the correct flow speed for their pumps.

Chillers And Cooling Towers For Air Conditioning

Chillers and Cooling Towers for Air Conditioning

  • October 16, 2017

Summer heat may have come to an end (in some areas), but air conditioning systems are a necessary need year round for a number of industrial and commercial applications. Unlike the air conditioning unit you’d find at your home, large office building and industrial plants require a much larger scale A/C machine. In many cases, these air circulation and conditioning machines function with heavy duty chillers or cooling towers, and that requires extra care and monitoring to keep them running in good condition.

Are You Ready for Alternative Energy?

  • May 28, 2017

With energy such a highly charged subject these days, it’s important to know how and where different forms are being utilized. Take cell phone towers — companies today are switching from backup batteries and electrical generators to longer-lasting, lower maintenance hydrogen fuel cells. While the benefits are high, hydrogen is still highly combustible and therefore equipment designers and installers must meet additionally demanding requirements. That increases the reliance on products like the High Pressure Excess Flow Valve (HPEFV) from ChemTec.

A Custom Valve Might be the Least Expensive Option

  • January 12, 2015

Sometimes using standard items out of the product catalog makes life complicated. For example, a ChemTec customer wanted to install an excess flow valve (EFV) in a system with 2” diameter piping. The problem was, the EFV meeting the performance requirements had 3/4” diameter ports. This left them with two choices: reduce their pipework to the required diameter, or request a custom EFV with the performance of the standard unit but 2” ports.
