Operation

With 120 VAC supplied, the flow monitor’s contacts are connected to the 12VDC 10 mA control circuit provided by the relay.  When the flow monitor contacts are closed for a period of time the relay contacts are then energized.  This period of time can be adjusted from 50 milliseconds to 5.0 seconds.  A LED light gives the status of the control circuit.
