Welcome to CTE, Chem Tec Equipment Company. Family owned and operated for three generations!

Since 1968 our family has been engineering and manufacturing our patented line of flow meters, flow monitors and excess flow valves. We build, assemble, and test all of our products right here in our factory located in Deerfield Beach, Florida. We specialize in low flow applications (120 SCFM; 20 GPM or less), and currently are the only manufacturer of all Teflon® Flow Switches and Flow Meters.

Our flow meters, flow monitors and excess flow valves are assisting many industries including medical, biomedical, laser technology, wafer fabrication, clean rooms, cellular towers, petroleum, natural gas, semiconductor, hydrogen, cryogenics and so many more. The possibilites are endless!

We proudly support Green Manufacturing and have made every effort to make sure our products are RoHS / WEEE compliant.

While other companies’ products may look like CTE Chem Tec’s, our reputation for quality, durability, customer satisfaction and fast turn-around time is unmatched. Make your first choice the right choice: CTE CHEM TEC EQUIPMENT COMPANY.

Did we mention CTE builds custom units? Give us a call today and be sure to check back often to see CTE’s newest products in our “Updates” section. Our engineering department is only a phone call away, ready to discuss your individual application.

• Ports: Nippon Pillar Super 300, ½”
• All-Wetted Teflon® Parts
• Pressure: 70 PSIG MAWP
• Temperature: 32° to 75°F
• Flow: Horizontal In and Out

• Cost Effective

Custom FS Series
FS-25-B-968

Key Features

*Internal Bias Spring
*1” Hexagonal Brass Body
*Non-Interfering Leads
*1/4” FNPT, Inlet & Outlet
More about CTE’s FS Series
How It Works
When flow increases, the magnetic piston in forced against a bias spring. As the magnet comes near the reed switch it actuates, indicating proper flow.

When flow decreases, the spring forces the piston in the opposite direction, de-actuating the reed switch indicating reduced flow or no-flow.

EFV 1/4” Gauge Port Option
EFV-250-B MRS (B-920)

Key Features

*1/4” Gauge Port
*Blind End Plug Option
More about CTE’s EFV Series
How It Works
Maintaining the same Operation as our standard EFV MRS Series CTE’s new B-920 model offers a 1/4” gauge port option to show system pressure and visually verifies if the valve is open or closed. The blind end plug option on the B-920 model provides a tamper-proof trip point setting.

Custom 125-316 Series
125-316 (B-687)

Key Features
*High Purity Weld &
   Electropolish
*Micro-Fit Weld Fittings, VCR
   Gland, 1/4” Male Nut
*Horizontal Flow Orientation
More about CTE’s 125-316 Series
How It Works
When no flow is present the free magnetic piston is suspended in the upper portion of the valve bore due to magnetic repulsion between the lower fixed magnet and the piston. As soon as flow is established the piston is displaced downward and actuates the reed switch at the set point. Set point is adjustable.

New Body for LPH Series with Conduit
LPH-125-SQ

Key Features
*1/2” Conduit Integral to Body
*2”x2”x1” (LxWxD) Square Body
*Mounting Holes
*Custom Options Available More about CTE’s LPH Series
How It Works
As flow is established upward through the unit and continues to increase, the pressure differential across the grooved magnetic piston increases until it overcomes the small piston’s resistance (mass). The force causes it to progress fully upward which actuates the encapsulated, hermetically-sealed reed switch. This is a snap action and occurs in the decreasing mode as well.

MAO 250 Series with Stainless Steel Body
MAO-250-S

*Maximum Pressure: 3000 PSI
*No Seals
*Undamaged by Over-Ranging
*3-in-1 Output
More about CTE’s MAO Series
How It Works
When fluid flows through the unit it displaces the Teflon® - encapsulated magnetic piston. This displacement is proportional to the volumetric flow through the unit. A transducer, encapsulated in the body outside the fluid path, senses the displacement of the piston. The transducer’s signal is converted by a microprocessor-based conditioning circuit, then the signal is sent to one of three types of outputs: voltage, pulse, or current loop.
